Bull causes chaos at Varanasi shoots!

Did you know?

Rani Mukherji was the star attraction of the Varanasi schedule of 'Laaga Chunari Mein Daag'. Every possible step had been taken to control the unruly crowds gathered to meet Rani. There were security guards from Delhi ad Mumbai, apart from the local police. When she reached the ghats and was about to board her car, a bull started chasing the public, resulting in total chaos, one of the crewmembers injured his leg in the process and had to come back to Mumbai for a knee surgery. taken to control the unruly crowds gathered to meet Rani. During the same schedule, one evening, when the shoot got over, the cast and crew got into various boats to be ferried to the main ghat where the cars were parked. Choreographer of the film, Howard Rosemeyer, also jumped into one boat, but suddenly jumped out and ran into the ghat requesting everyone to wait for him. Few minutes later a new Howard returned, head clean-shaven. This was the Varanasi effect on him; he maintains the same hairstyle to date.

Enjoy the song , 'Hum to aise hain' from Laaga Chunari Mein Daag!
