In a Bollywood dominated music soundscape, Ayushmann Khurrana’s hot new single ‘O Heeriye’ has become among the only few non-film song videos to have crossed over 1 million streams on music on web platforms besides over 1 million views online. The single has already been trending on Twitter and is being shared, liked across Facebook and other social media platforms.

Leading to Ayushmann releasing a thumping new remix version of the track.  Written and composed by the hit duo of Paani Da and Saddi Galli, Ayushmann & Rochak Kohli, the O Heeriye remix has a new collaboration with DJ Chetas who brings in the latest genre that’s rocking the dance floor and the youth across the nation – EDM [Electronic Dance Music] – into the song, giving it a whole new texture and feel. 'O Heeriye' is sung in Punjabi and Hindi languages, it is originally composed and sung by Ayushmann Khurrana.

Ayushmann Khurrana's first single O Heeriye on his birthday!

The multi-faceted Actor, Singer - Ayushmann Khurrana, is known as much for his music as he's loved for his acting. Ayushmann has also penned the lyrics of this track; He has composed this song together with his long-time friend Rochak Kohli.

O Heeriye starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rhea Chakraborty is a soft-rock love ballad that expresses and describes the feelings of love.Love can be messy, always. If you are in a steady relationship, there is no fun without being messy and that's part of life, it's all fun.

Releasing his single under the YRF Music banner, what made it special is that it was launched on his birthday, September 14th, almost as his back-present to all his fans.

Is living on love and fresh air really possible?

Passionately in love Mohit Chadhdha (Ayushman) and Mayera Sehgal (Sonam), strongly believe it is. But Mayera’s wilful bureaucrat father, V.K. Sehgal (Rishi Kapoor), vehemently disagrees.

Who gets the last laugh in this slice-of life Delhi-comedy when recession strikes and the lack of money tests love... credit-card-junkies private-sector Mohit-Mayera; or safe-playing sarkari, V.K. Sehgal?

This fun-filled satire has been written by the versatile writer/director Habib Faisal and Produced by Aditya Chopra, and will be directed by Nupur Asthana. This is her second film for the Studio, after her successful directorial debut last year with Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge, under the Y Films banner.

The untitled film has Rishi Kapoor, Ayushman Khurana and Sonam Kapoor in lead roles. This is both Ayushman and Sonam’s first film with YRF.

The film is expected to go on floor in February and is slated for a 2013 release.
