Few
films from India went to Cannes this year. Nevertheless, the one which was
selected undoubtedly was ‘Titli’. It is the story of a young man who was forced
to marry a girl so that his family could continue their family business of
carjacking.
The
entire team of ‘Titli’ that comprised of Kanu Behl – the director, Guneet Monga
– the producer, Shashank Arora and Ranvir Shorey – the actors in the title roles
as well as Avtar Panesar from Yash Raj Films was present for the screening of
the film at Cannes.
