Guneet Monga is the co-producer of Sikhiya
Entertainment along with being the CEO of Anurag Kashyap Films Pvt. Ltd who is
attending the Cannes Film Festival as their film ‘Titli’ is being screened at
the ‘Un-regard’ section at the illustrious film festival.
She shared some of her thoughts on Day 1 of the
festival:
Cannes film festival can be quite daunting. It's the
epitome of glitz, glamour, all things film and more so, shapes the global
cinema consumption trend.
Day 1 of Cannes was buzzing with excitement, of
what’s to come. Team ‘Titli’ was in full form, walking the red carpet of GOM, followed
by the swish after party on the Croisette. With Kanu, Shashank, Avtar from YRF
and myself in attendance, we danced away through the night, celebrating not
just GOM but also the fact that a few days from now, ‘Titli’ will be showcased
to the world.
Of friends, family and inspirational people day 1
has created huge expectations of what to expect in the coming days.
