Imran's impressive dance moves a la Salman, Shah Rukh and Aamir

Imran sure does know how to impress the audience while giving the three reigning superstars of Bollywood a delightful tribute. The title track of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan features Imran on a hunt for the perfect bride for his brother using three different modes of transportation - air, road and train.

Imran's first tribute is to his maamujaan, Aamir Khan, whose "Masti ki paathshaala" steps are mimicked in the airport. His second tribute is to Bollywood's favorite hero with a heart of gold, Salman Khan. This sequence is performed on the road along with a policewoman, whose name has been cheekily titled ' Chulbuli Pandey', after Salman's iconic character 'Chulbul Pandey' from Dabangg. Both perform the famous 'belt loop' step and the 'towel-between-the-legs' step as well.

The third tribute is to the king of all Khans, Shah Rukh Khan, whose famous "Chaiyya Chaiyya"  dance steps with Malaika Arora Khan, on top of a moving train, became legendary. All three senior Khans will definitely be very touched and impressed by such an effort and audiences are going to love Imran even more!

Word has been spreading pretty fast of the fantastic cast and super exciting trailer of one of the most highly anticipated release of the year, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. Audiences have another nice surprise in store for them since the title track is now finally out and it’s sure to be another chart-buster from Yash Raj films, whose movies are usually well-known for having exceptional music, soothing tunes and hummable tracks.



The Mere Brother Ki Dulhan title track has been shot widely across India including Mumbai, Dehradun and Delhi and features Imran Khan, who is on the lookout for his brother’s perfect bride. The lyrics are catchy, the music is fast-paced, and Imran Khan’s dancing is his best so far, as he pays a tribute toBollywood’s three superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.

The song uses the three modes of transportation – air, road and train in a very interesting and captivating style, in his hunt for his brother’s dulhan. It’s indeed delightful to watch Imran charming his way on screen with steps from Aamir’s famous ‘masti ki paathshala’ steps, to Salman’s Dabangg belt move and his towel step, and of course Shah Rukh’s “Chaiyya chaiyya” atop the train.

The song is definitely going to leave its mark on people’s minds and hearts for quite a long time now.

"Haule Haule"

The prelude and interlude of the song ‘Haule Haule’ were devised to shoot in one single shot. The mechanics of each shot took half a day of preparation and the lead actor Shahrukh Khan delivered the takes in less than an hour.

The script of RAB NE BANA DI JODI (’08) was written by Aditya Chopra in just twelve days. He announced the film impromptu when Shahrukh Khan told him that he is not very busy for the next five months, since he had opted out of the two films he was supposed to do then.  Shahrukh Khan was so impressed by the character of ‘Surinder Sahni’ that he started working on his own for the look of the character. Nobody recognized him on the sets for the first 20 days. According to him, it was the most memorable moment of the shoot.

Apart from the great honour that he has consistently brought to our country, he is also someone that has created some outstanding and memorable music, something which is very important and dear to me and my films. I am looking forward to creating some wonderful music combining Rahman's contemporary world music sensibilities and my old world sensibilities of lilting melodies."

A. R. Rahman, while speaking about working with Yashji for the first time said, "I am very excited to work with Yashji and I am humbled by his faith in me for his film. I have seen that Yashji always portrays music as the inevitable essence of love and divinity in his movies. I hope as a team we can bring tremendous joy to all."

On the various conjectures about the cast for his movie, Yashji also said, "Everyone knows that when I make a movie, Shahrukh will be involved with it. He is like family to YRF and I have always regarded him as one of my own. There will be two leading ladies in my film. Once Adi gives me the final draft of the script, I will finalise the two girls who will be cast along with Shahrukh."
