The Making of the title track of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan - All work, more play!

The romantic in us believes that love awaits us at every corner. She may be the girl standing next to you at a grocery store; she may be that girl you smile at as you enter church every morning. You can find love anywhere; for yourself and for your loved one.

And as Imran Khan sat at the airport, finding his ‘brother ki dulhan’ this was all that he could think of. The making of the of the title track of the soon-to-be released ‘Mere Brother ki Dulhan’ starring Imran Khan, Ali Zafar and Katrina Kaif shows us what actually took place behind the making of a song and all the hardwork and efforts put in by the entire cast and crew.

In the opening shot of the title song, Imran Khan waits at the airport and suddenly slips into fantasy-mode, imagining one of the air-hostesses to suddenly transform into the ideal Indian bride, in the traditional attire. And thus begins the song ‘Mere brother ki dulhan’ that transforms itself into a travel song; these locations were specifically chosen and the shooting did indeed take place on the busy streets of Delhi and on top of a bus and train.

The lyrics and the choreography add to the fun element in the song. The famous choreographer duo of Bosco and Caesar explain how they decided to pay a tribute to the three Khans – Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman through the title song of ‘Mere brother ki dulhan’. You have Aamir’s famous 'Masti ki paathshaala' step, Salman’s crazy belt-loop step and the now legendary train dance by Shah Rukh; all of these performed by Imran Khan who describes the making of the song as “my craziest experience so far”.
