Exclusive! 'Dhoom' Trivia

Director Sanjay Gadhvi did a lot of research on different types of bikes across the world. Since such high-end bikes are not made in India, all the bikes used in DHOOM were imported, and selected according to the characters in the film. Uday got the yellow bike, keeping in mind, his colorful character in the film. The gang-members, in keeping with their professional and no-nonsense characters, were given gray ones. John got a mean-looking one, in keeping with his role.

When it came to shooting, the shot which John Abraham found the most difficult, was the one in which his bike has to enter the trailer, at a high speed. The trailer was moving at a speed of 80 km per hour, and John’s bike, at 100 km per hour. He did this stunt himself, that too, without a helmet. He told the other people on the bikes around him, that if he falls, they should swerve, otherwise, they would be going over his head.

Exclusive! DDLJ & Shahrukh Khan Trivia. :)

DILWALE DULHANIA LE JAYENGE broke all records. It is the first Hindi film to have run for more than 750 weeks (and still running), which is a run of about 15 years.
The film also created waves at Filmfare Awards winning 10 Awards across various categories. It also won the prestigious National Award for providing wholesome entertainment.
But, did you know, Shah Rukh Khan thought that playing the character of Raj was going against the image he had created in those days with BAAZIGAR and DARR. Director Adi Chopra thought he would do justice to the role, and convinced Shahrukh to do the film. This film changed Shah Rukh’s image to that of a romantic hero, and he thinks of this film as his launch film.

When we talk of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, we cannot miss this song.

Legendary Music of Veer-Zaara

Veer Zaara's much celebrated music was composed over 30 years back by Late Madan Mohan.
When Yash Chopra approached music directors for the music of Veer Zaara, he was not very happy with the results until he met Sanjeev Kohli, son of Late Madan Mohan. Sanjeev Kohli suggested YashJi to use the unused tunes composed by his father. YashJi was quite impressed and shortlisted 35 songs out of 100, and finally 11 songs were selected. And, as they say, the rest was history.
Although 30 years old, the tunes were well appreciated. Late Madan Mohan was nominated as the Best Music Director, at the Filmfare awards for the preceding year.

2. Put hands on belt and loop thumbs through belt loops.
3. Pull right loop up and left loop down at the same time.
4. Repeat step by doing the same the other way with the belt loops.
5. Move from side to side and keep repeating step.
6. And you're rocking the move!!!! Congratulations!!

Share this with all your friends and pass on the awesome-ness!

The Making of the title track of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan - All work, more play!

The romantic in us believes that love awaits us at every corner. She may be the girl standing next to you at a grocery store; she may be that girl you smile at as you enter church every morning. You can find love anywhere; for yourself and for your loved one.

And as Imran Khan sat at the airport, finding his ‘brother ki dulhan’ this was all that he could think of. The making of the of the title track of the soon-to-be released ‘Mere Brother ki Dulhan’ starring Imran Khan, Ali Zafar and Katrina Kaif shows us what actually took place behind the making of a song and all the hardwork and efforts put in by the entire cast and crew.

In the opening shot of the title song, Imran Khan waits at the airport and suddenly slips into fantasy-mode, imagining one of the air-hostesses to suddenly transform into the ideal Indian bride, in the traditional attire. And thus begins the song ‘Mere brother ki dulhan’ that transforms itself into a travel song; these locations were specifically chosen and the shooting did indeed take place on the busy streets of Delhi and on top of a bus and train.

The lyrics and the choreography add to the fun element in the song. The famous choreographer duo of Bosco and Caesar explain how they decided to pay a tribute to the three Khans – Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman through the title song of ‘Mere brother ki dulhan’. You have Aamir’s famous 'Masti ki paathshaala' step, Salman’s crazy belt-loop step and the now legendary train dance by Shah Rukh; all of these performed by Imran Khan who describes the making of the song as “my craziest experience so far”.

Check out the video below!
